Shingkhar Gewog has seven main villages viz. Zangling, Thajong, Nimzhong, Radhi, Shingkhar, Thrisa and Wamling with 261 households.
Covering an area of 209 sq. km with elevations ranging from 1,000 meters to 4,000 meters above sea level. Education in the Gewog provided by three Community Primary schools while health services are provided by one BHU II and three ORC.
Agricultural extension services are availed from the RNR center in the Gewog. Only over 48% of the populations have access to potable drinking water supply.
