Zhemgang Dzongkhag takes immense pleasure to launch its first independent website after the advent of the internet service in Bhutan in 1999, coinciding with the silver Jubilee celebration of His Majesty the Fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck which was a major stride taken by the government in pursuit of Gross National Happiness.
The launch of the website is spearheaded to make the information available to all the stakeholders and beneficiaries. The information available can not only help the planners and decision makers at national level but also the donors at large.
Now, the information with regards to the Dzongkhag will be available in our web site, as it will have uploaded the information down to the grassroot level.
For instance, the availability of tender documents in the website will make it much easier job for the clients. The earlier haste of traveling all the way to the Dzongkhag to obtain the tender forms will now be surrogated by a seat on a chair to download, print and bind it and submit to the Dzongkhag Tender Committee. The evaluation of the tender will be also announced in our website, which will for no doubt saves time and resources.
I wish all stakeholders and beneficiaries at all level make best use of the website.
Tashi Delek!
