The statue of Drupthop Thangthong Gyalpo arrived in the Dzongkhag on 5th August, 2021. The statue was received by the officials of Rabdhey Dratshang, Dzongkhag Administration and Regional Offices at Dzongkhag Guest House led by Dasho Dzongdag and Drangpoen.

In the morning of 6th August, 2021 the statue was received in the Dechen Yangtse Dzong with chibdrel procession and  Zhungdrel Phuensum Tshogpai ceremony.

The statues were procured by the Thangtong Mahasiddha foundation for the welfare of all the sentient beings during this pandemic.

And, His Eminence the 17th Thangthong Gyalpo Ngawang Jigdrel Kuenga Rinpochhe, and the board members of Thangthong Mahasiddha Foundation accompanied the statue.
